Darlaston Swimming and Fitness Centre plant room upgrades

Leisure Energy have installed new equipment in the plant room at Darlaston Swimming and Fitness Centre. This includes new heat exchangers, BMS upgrades, expansion and buffer vessels, and primary & secondary pumps with associated pipework. All of these will be contributing towards lowering the carbon emissions at the leisure    facility.
We are working in partnership with Walsall Council.

New Technical Director joins Leisure Energy

Leisure Energy are pleased to announce that Michael Ardis has joined the company as Technical Director.

Mike is an experienced multi disciplined engineer with over 12 years’ experience of retrofitting heat pump solutions into commercial buildings. Having previously worked with companies within the energy industry such as SHECo Group Ltd, Centrica, EDF and Rolls Royce he brings a wide knowledge of design, controls and commissioning to Leisure Energy.

Dronfield Sports Centre craning in of Air Source Heat Pumps

Working in partnership with North East Derbyshire District Council and Alliance Leisure on energy reduction projects, two Air Source Heat Pumps were craned into position at Dronfield Sports Centre in Northeast Derbyshire this week. Once all the pipework is in place and they are connected, these pumps will transfer heat from the outside air to the water for the swimming pool, heating, and hot water, helping to lower the carbon footprint at the centre.
