Carbon Reduction Plan
Commitment to Carbon Reduction
Leisure Energy is committed to achieving Net Zero on carbon emissions by 2050.
Baseline Emissions Footprint
Baseline emissions are a record of the greenhouse gases that have been produced in the past and were produced prior to the introduction of any strategies to reduce emissions. Baseline emissions are the reference point against which emissions reduction can be measured.

Leisure Energy is continuing growing as a company as the need for leisure facilities to decarbonise and replace aging equipment increases. Consequently, the staffing level is continuing to grow to meet the needs of our clients. In 2023 we opened an assembly plant in Kidderminster for our Net Zero Pod packaged plant room. Green electricity is bought from Octopus as of February 2024, replacing the supply from British Gas. As a business we continuously pursue ways of offsetting our carbon emissions. Senior team members have already switched to Electric Vehicles and employees are encouraged to change to lower carbon emission vehicles when possible. | |
