Commitment to Carbon Reduction
Leisure Energy is committed to achieving Net Zero on carbon emissions by 2050.
Baseline Emissions Footprint
Baseline emissions are a record of the greenhouse gases that have been produced in the past and were produced prior to the introduction of any strategies to reduce emissions. Baseline emissions are the reference point against which emissions reduction can be measured.

Leisure Energy is growing as a company as the need for leisure facilities to decarbonise and replace aging equipment increases. Consequently, the staffing level has doubled, and our emissions have increased. As a business we continuously pursue ways of offsetting our carbon emissions. Some senior team members have already switched to Electric Vehicles and more are planned in the next financial year. | |

Carbon Reduction Projects
The following environmental management measures are being implemented throughout 2023/24:
- Change of fossil fuel vehicles to electric cars.
- Offsetting of each member of staff’s carbon footprint.
- Minimise use of paper products and ensuring recycling procedures are in place.
- Scope 3 subcontactor carbon reduction measures are being assessed.
