Dronfield Sports Centre craning in of Air Source Heat Pumps
Working in partnership with North East Derbyshire District Council and Alliance Leisure on energy reduction projects, two Air Source Heat Pumps were craned into position at Dronfield Sports Centre in Northeast Derbyshire this week. Once all the pipework is in place and they are connected, these pumps will transfer heat from the outside air to the water for the swimming pool, heating, and hot water, helping to lower the carbon footprint at the centre.
