Solar Panels are brightening up Eckington Swimming Pool & Fitness Centre

Solar photovoltaic panels have been installed at Eckington Swimming Pool and Fitness Centre in North East Derbyshire District Council (NEDDC) as part of the carbon reduction projects which are being funded by a £1,014,009 Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme (PSDS) government grant via Salix Finance.
The solar panels will provide electricity to reduce reliance on the grid to power the Air Source Heat Pump and electrical equipment within the facility.
