Works commence at Tenterden Leisure Centre in Kent

Energy installations are about to commence at Tenterden Leisure Centre on behalf of Ashford Borough Council. Leisure Energy are working with Alliance Leisure on equipment installs including air source heat pumps and photo voltaic solar panels. On completion of the project expected carbon emission savings of 320 tonnes will be equivalent to taking 168 fossil fuel cars off the road. Funding for the projects of £2.5m has been received from the Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme via Salix Finance and the Council. Further detail is on the council press release.
