Leisure Energy have been shortlisted for three categories at the National Energy Efficiency Awards 2022 which are to take place in Birmingham in October.
We have submitted entries for both Consultancy of the Year and Project Management Company of the Year, as our installations are relevant to both categories.
The third entry is the Multi-Measure Project of the Year category in partnership with Parkwood Leisure and Torbay Council for the extensive energy efficiency works at Torbay Leisure Centre. This installation included two air source heat pumps, 474 solar panels and 476 LED light fittings. The facility will be saving approximately 318 tonnes of carbon per annum and 100% gas as the facility is now entirely run on electricity.
Additionally, Leisure Energy nominated Derbyshire Dales District Council for Local Authority of the Year in recognition of their energy efficiency installations at the leisure facilities and across the district, which has also been shortlisted. We will be working with them again this Autumn on other buildings (not just leisure ones) across their portfolio.
